Freezer Paper T-shirts...

My name is Greta & I'm additcted to
all things freezer paper stenciled!

This craft is majorlly addictive
so easy & fun!

All you need is freezer paper it's made my Reynolds
It can be tricky to find but I found some at Wal-mart
you also need an iron, fabric paint, xacto knife & some sponge brushes
Michaels & AC Moore usually run these on sale for 20/$1.00!

I like to browse through Google images for ideas
and trace things I like

after you have your design on the freezer paper
you use your xacto knife to cut out the image
then iron it shiny side down to the item you want
stenciled
Paint with your fabric paint
*(line the inside of your shirt or item with cardboard to prevent bleed through)
 & let dry
after it's dry remove freezer paper & heat set image with your iron

Lego Storage...

As a mother of 3 boys I know first hand that
there is nothing worse than stepping on Lego's
so after about the 100th time it happened to me
I thought of making my boys
 this...

This cute little Lego man is made from
a cheap yellow with red lid trash can
from the Dollar Tree.
Then I printed out some circles for the eyes
and a thin line for the mouth.
For only $1.00 and a little creativity my
boys now have cute storage for those
pesky little Lego's!

As I'm writing this blog post I'm thinking to myself
this would be cute to make for a Lego theme party!

Spy Training...

 Today was a rainy day & I couldn't get
the kids outside so we made a
spy training obstacle course another
Pinterst idea from this wonderful blog
in our hallway!

Tape, more tape, & did I mention tape?
I just stuck it in random places
made some low, some high & some
overlapping. This wasn't the smartest
thing I ever did but I had trapped myself inside
of this obstacle course while designing it
& the kids thought it was hilarious
that I was stuck and had to go through it to get out;)
I wish I had a picture! LOL

School's Out Party...

The kids last day of school was today
so I had wanted to plan a little surprise
for them when they got home!

I went to Dollar Tree and bought
party supplies in primary colors
then I went through my school supplies
and found some flash cards to use for decorations

I printed out some clip art from the web
and taped it up over my usual kitchen pictures

I printed some summer theme word searches off the
web & used them as place mats.

I also made them each a diploma to move up
to the next grade!

I now have kids in Pre-K, Second & Third grade!!

The kids requested
Strawberry Shortcakes for dessert;)
