Easter Cookies...

These adorable cookies were made by yours truly...well let me rephrase that the decorations were made by yours truly but I admit to cheating on the actual baking of these cookies...so my shout out goes to Wal-Mart for saving me time & baking these sugar cookies for me! HA HA
Anyways sometimes its the thought that counts! I had to make an Easter treat for my little boys class party and I wanted to do something cute so I came up with little bunny's and chicks. I covered the store bought sugar cookie with some of my homemade buttercream icing and then with the help of fondant and cookie cutters I was able to make these adorable cookies!

50th Birthday Cake...

This cake was a bit of a challenge first of all it was my first real paying order & I wanted everything to be perfect and it didn't go as planned. It was suppose to be topsy turvy but I couldn't figure out those pesky angles & then I didn't want to use fondant because of its not so pleasing taste so I opted for buttercream and I tried my best to get it smooth like fondant but it looked terrible on the top layer & I need to work on getting my layers nice & straight because these are so not level!! All in all this cake is my favorite so far but I hope it has been a lesson learned & I can do bigger & better cakes in the future!

Fruit Ninja Cake ...

This cake is my first attempt at a buttercream transfer.
I think it turned ok & most importantly the birthday boy was happy!
